Truthfully, I have a not-so-secret obsession with vanilla, amber, woody scents. For Seraphim, I initially wanted to try a more true-to-form dupe scent of another personal favorite of mine: By Killian's Angels' Share.
Seraphim eventually turned out being a slightly more boozy/sweet leaning dupe, and I couldn't be happier with how the scent character plays out. Seraphim, and what eventually became The Artisan, were two of the first scents I ever created, with the former being the most highly regarded amongst samples I sent out to several friends close to the brand for feedback prior to launch.
In Felis Umbra Parfums lore, Seraphim is one of four pieces of Hamilton's soul and essence, reshaped to mirror orders of angelic beings, cast forth by The Matriarch as a means to preserve his memory.
As the first in this series of boozy vanilla scents within my catalog, it sets the standard.
