To have The Abyssal Crown placed upon one's head, one must allow The Demiurge to place the Mark of Excision on those chosen to be sacrified. 

Those afflicted with the mark face either an instantaneous erasure, or a gradual degredation of existence until completely erased.

Only Their will dictates the fate of the Marked.♛
