Fata Morgana is an ancient being of The Penumbral Cradle, born not from the heavens, but from the boundary between what exists and what is perceived.
Fata Morgana first appeared during the longest eclipse in recorded history. A slender, black-furred feline figure standing alone in the desert, her face wrapped in ancient linen and her body covered in the remnants of ceremonial armor.
Everywhere she walked, people began seeing things that weren't there: Cities appearing on empty horizons, rivers flowing through the desert, and enormous temples existing for only a few seconds before vanishing.
